/raison d'être
My passion for art, especially folk art, has roots in giving. I hope to help revive dying art forms by teaching in the community and giving a percentage of my sales to help tribal artists.
To appreciate beauty
To find the best in others
To leave the world a bit better
whether by a healthy child,
a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition
To know even one life has breathed easier
because you have lived.
This is to have succeeded.

Learning new art forms like Zentangle and tribal forms like madhubani and warli is the cornerstone of my creations. Along with traditional medium like paper or canvas, I also explore new mediums to help incorporate art in everyday life.

Most tribal artists are unable to provide a good livelihood to their families on the basis of their art. Hence they do not pass on their skills to their children.
I propose to help alleviate the struggles and travails of tribal artists by giving a portion of my sales to the betterment of artists' children.

It is a popular misconception that you can only be a born artist. I sincerely believe that there are certain areas of art you can get proficient at.
I offer a number of workshops throughout the year. Do check out the workshops page for more details.
